About Cave Carp

Cave Carp is a free, one-button arcade game you play right in your browser. Hold to swim your carp upward, release to sink, and thread an endless underwater cave as it twists deeper and deeper. There’s nothing to install and no account to create — you just press play.

The idea

We wanted the simplest possible control scheme — a single button — paired with a skill ceiling high enough to keep you coming back. Every dive generates a fresh cave, so no two runs are the same, and the only thing standing between you and a new personal best is your own timing. Collect glowing orbs for bonus points, chain them into combos, and chase a deeper score than yesterday.

Leaderboards

Cave Carp keeps both a monthly and an all-time leaderboard. Submitting a score is optional and uses only a display name of your choosing — see our privacy policy for details on what’s stored.

Play in your language

The game interface is available in 17 languages, detected automatically and switchable at any time. We also publish a blog with tips, strategy guides, and roundups of other great browser games.

Who makes it

Cave Carp is an independent project built and maintained by a small solo developer who loves quick, replayable browser games. It’s supported by unobtrusive advertising so it can stay free for everyone.
